Annie grew up in a very normal Irrish catholic family in Boston MA. She was a good student with a flair for languages. School was not really an interest to her until she was in a drama production in the 8th grade. She had found her true love. The act of being someone else, if even for a brief moment, held an allure for her. She excelled at her craft throughout high school and accepted a scholarship to Northwestern University.

While at Northwestern she drew the attention of one of her instructors who in turn introduced her to a gentleman who worked for the goverment. The gentleman from the goverment convinced Annie that she could use her amazing talent for languages along with her acting ability in the service of her goverment. The idea intrigued Annie and she accepted this gentleman's invitation to enroll at "The Institute".

Everything was going well at The Institute until Annie's third year when she had an affair with one of her older instructors. The affair ended badly with a lot of hurt feelings. Another unfortunate aspect of this affair was that the instructor went on to become head of the institute and thus sealed Annie's fate as being merely an arm charm for diplomats on the cocktail circuit.

Shortly after graduation from The Institute another tragedy was to take place in her life. While on a trip in Scotland Annie's parents were killed in a terrorist bombing of a plane in Lockerbie, Scotland. Annie was now alone with no living relatives that she knew of.

Annie went about her job for the goverment and met many influential people in her ten years of service. Then last year she met someone named Gregor. At first he was just a shadowy figure that she thought was following her, but she soon discovered the more.

Gregor had told Annie that he had been "drawn" to her...that there was a famalial bond between the two. At first she didn't know what to think of this but something in her gut told her that it was true. Annie also dicovered that her new relative was not a normal man but an ancient "vampire" as today's vernacular would have it. Gregor explained that it was highly abnormal for one of his kind to reveal themselves to any human or "Kine" as he called them. But as Gregor looked upon Annie's face, he saw himself. Gregor asked her if she would consider joining him as he was called to protect something he called the "Masquerade". Annie knew immediately this was something she was meant for. Once again she had found her family and had found a purpose.

With the help of Gregor and some of the officials she had met in her years of service to the goverment, Annie was able to stage her own death. She is now persona non grata as far as the goverment databases are concerned.

Annie is highly skilled in languages and dialects as well as disguise. She is also proficient at the use of personal weapons, along with a plethora of unused identities.
