BIOGRAPHY:
Goewyn was the daughter of Donnachaidh Reamhair, "Stout Duncan", known in the history books as the first Chieftan of this clan. She grew up the child of a chieftan, but like all female children of this time, she was prevented from learning to fight, and thus spent most of her childhood learning woman's work. She had a particular fondness for the forest that surrounded her home, and spent much time there, having no interest in playing with other children. She was somewhat close to her older sister, Alleria, when she was young, but as the years went by, the gap between them grew wider and wider.

When she was approximately ten years old, her father commissioned an Irish metalsmith by the name of Tegid Penderwyyd to be the clan swordmaster. Tegid had a habit of working long hours into the night, and disappearing by day, but this was shrugged off by the clan members, because Tegid's handiwork was well-known as possibly the finest in the British Isles. Tensions were becoming high within Scotland, and every year there was increasing rumors of battle with the English, of freedom for the Scots.

After much begging on young Goewyn's part, Tegid agreed to teach her how to fight, but only in secret. As Goewyn matured, so did her skills with the blade, and her fondness for Tegid.

In 1314, the men of the clan were called to fight at Bannockburn, led by her father. She, of course, was not permitted to fight or accompany the warriors. Tegid, along with an old friend named Laven, nicknamed Llyd ap Dicter, was to lead a separate nighttime raid on the English camp, and Goewyn was able to convince Tegid to let her accompany him. Dressed like a man, Goewyn was not very convincing, but because the raid was at night, it was doubted that anyone would notice that a woman fought among them.

June 23 heralded a victory for all of the clans, and it was decided that Tegid's raid was not needed. However, later that day, scouts discovered a camp of English that had not participated in the battle, or had fled with their lives, and it was this camp that Tegid, Goewyn, and Llyd, along with Tegid's band of warriors, torched that night. Unfortunately, some of the English were prepared for the attack and fatally wounded some of Tegid's band. Goewyn was one of them.

The last things Goewyn remembered before losing consciousness was Tegid's soothing voice and a sharp pain on her neck. She awoke to an insatiable hunger and the feeling of warm sweetness in her mouth. Tegid was holding his wrist outstretched to her, and she drank. Before she had had nearly enough, he pulled his arm away and motioned to the wounded men surrounding them. This was to be Goewyn's first meal. She saw that both Tegid and Llyd were doing the same, putting the wounded warriors to merciful sleep.

Tegid, Llyd, Goewyn, and the rest of the warriors returned to their homes amidst celebration. Goewyn was reprimanded somewhat for going into battle, but because of the victory, her punishment was not harsh. Alleria met them, and it became apparent that she had previously known and was in love with Llyd. At the feast that night, these four sat together. Alleria and Tegid began arguing, and Tegid's temper got the best of him. He began to frenzy. Alleria, now frightened of Tegid, grabbed a knife and stabbed him. When it was seen that Tegid's wound quickly healed, as well as his animalistic appearance during frenzy, he and Llyd were seen as demons and were banished from the area.

Rumors were quickly spread that Goewyn was also one of them. Some claimed to have seen her die on the battlefield, only to be resurrected by her demon love. She was banished as well, and soon met up with Tegid and Llyd, who explained and unveiled to her the hidden life of vampires, namely Gangrels, for that is what they told her she was now.

The Camarilla soon called a blood hunt on them for revealing the Masquerade, and Goewyn was forced to leave their side. She went to Llyd's castle in Ireland, and they went to Europe. She was led to believe that they had met final death in the blood hunt, but only 5 years ago, she heard that two Gangrels, by the names of Tegid and Lupus Frater, were living in the States. She began her quest to find them, but like most Gangrels, they never seemed to leave a trail. Only Christmas Eve 1996 did she finally reveal herself to them.

She traveled much in her 700 years. However, she tends to stay away from civilization, usually living the life of a hunter and a hermit. She has become good friends with several lupine, and is able to "talk" to wolves. She has an incredible wit, and usually tends to be very calm about things. However, she takes her clan motto, "Garg'n Uair Dhuisgear" or "Fierce when Roused", literally, and many many people have regretted getting on her bad side over the years.
